Street Sense Takes the Race!

Whirlwind of a day for Sierra here.
I woke up this morning and drove up to Portland for the First Saturday Stitch N Bitch, which was held at Cori and Libby's (who sadly had to work) this month, stayed for a short period of time, catching up on wedding speak with Krista, realty speak with Cori, and boy speak with Allison for about an hour, then drove back down to Eugene, arriving just in time to catch the Kentucky Derby!
I walked into the local dive bar, Tracksters, in Springfield (only place you can do off track betting in Eugene), had time to get a beer, place a last minute bet, and watch the race. During the race two horses had the same (almost color) of number, one was the long shot and the other was Street Sense the one Dan and I both placed bets on. So after much discussion, the final call was presented and we had both won!
Now, I am looking foward to an hour nap before we hop up and go watch the big boxing match at our friend's house, then we will head down to Deeds's house for a brief Cinco de Mayo Party....
