home sweet home

i am home after 12 hours on amtrak to get from bellingham to eugene. what a fiasco. never again. trains are good for six hours, then a rented car would have done just fine.
Leaving Washington was difficult, i felt a pretty deep connection to the land up there. It's just beautiful. Leaving little Violet was pretty tough too.
